LADYSMITH DAYS SPECIAL$100.00 OFF August GLP when you visit our booth at Transfer Beach August 1st 2010 Cowichan School of Motoring has online scheduling, so you will be able to quickly and easily schedule your car driving sessions via the Internet 24 hours a day, 7 days a week! Before you can schedule your first drive, you will need to obtain your learner’s permit, register online or register with our office. You can find information for online registration to the right hand side of your screen, or the Menu to the left. Duncan or Nanaimo Students can use the online scheduling. You can be a Class 7 student or a Student looking to upgrade your licence to a high class, pick the class and the time you want with on line registration. Training Conducted 7 days a week out of both our Duncan and Nanaimo Locations.
Car training is back in Nanaimo. Indivdual lessons only at this time. We may be offering the GLP Course at a future date.
Cowichan School of Motoring, Inc. has been Serving Vancouver Island, BC, Canada for over 40 years. Our head office is located in Duncan and our satellite office has been located in Nanaimo for the past 21 years. CSM is an ICBC Licensed Driver Training Facility as well as its Instructors. CSM has been under the same ownership for 28 years. We take great pride in our professionalism, dedication and business ethics in conducting all of our training programs. Our Commercial Instructors come with many years of Commercial Transport expertise and take great pride in passing their experience along to our students and future professional drivers. Our car Instructors are the same, passing along their expertise to new and experienced drivers. We offer: - Driver training to "New Drivers" even those who are so new that they have not been behind the wheel of a car before.
- Graduated Licensing Program Course (GLP)
- Refresher training to all ages.
- Defensive driving courses for all Classes of License.
- Refresher training to our Seniors who may be preparing for a retest.
- Class 1 Training which covers all licenses except motorcycle, as well as refresher training for those who have not been behind the wheel of a commercial vehicle for sometime.
- Class 2 Training for school, tour, transit buses, this Class covers Class 4 as well.
- Class 3 Training for Dump trucks. Keep in mind that should you wish to haul a trailer weighing more that 4600 kilos (10,000) lbs you must obtain a Class 1.
- Class 4 Training for taxi and mini buses up to 10 passenger.
- Training on your RV whether it is a 5th Wheel or a Motorhome, perhaps you need an Air Brake Endorsement for you Motorhome. Keep in mind that should your 5th Wheel weigh more than 4600 kilos (10,000 lbs) you are required to obtain a code 51 on your license.
- Transportation of Dangerous Goods/WHMIS can now be taken on-line.
- Government Certified Air Brake Courses
- Corporate up-grading and re-training for your Employees, we will come to your location.
- We conduct our training 7 days a week at both Duncan and Nanaimo locations.
