May 9, 2010 Thanks Cowichan School of Motoring! I want to express my appreciation to Al for his knowledge and great instruction in helping me pass my Class 4 license. He was extremely knowledgeable and made me very confident for my test.  His dedication and expertise made me very calm before my test and I passed with flying colours! He knew exactly what I would encounter on the pre-trip and road test and therefore I knew exactly what to expect. I would recommend Cowichan School of Motoring to everyone, and once again, I would like to thank Al for his expertise and knowledge, he is a fantastic teacher and he made my experience both wonderful and enjoyable Selby from Victoria From The Island Beacon (Winter 2009)Robert Pitman-Jelly is a father, husband, and a landscaper whose life was severely impacted by current economic down-turn as landscaping can often be eliminated when people are trying to trim their budgets and minimize expenses.Robert decided to pursue a class one driver’s license through Cowichan School of Motoring as the trucking industry is one of the industries not severely impacted and it is a skill and classification he can use in landscaping as well. Funding was provided by Jericho Hill Legacy Trust and the Employment Program for Person’s with Disabilities. In collaboration with Roy and Al at Cowichan School of Motoring, Robert successfully completed the course and passed the Road Test. He now holds a Class one driver’s license with Air Brake endorsement and is looking forward to to the future with new possibilities.“Thanks to all at IDHHC especially Tracy Bohay for her hard work, the interpreters and the support of Jericho Hill Legacy Trust whom made this all possible. Without them I wouldn’t have been able to do this. Roy, Doug and Al were just excellent instructors, with smooth and thorough but enjoyable presentation.  Just finished the air brake exam at ICBC and scored 100%, then did the Class 1 exam and scored 97%.
